exam-md101-600x600

I just updated the MD-100 guide, which really didn’t need many changes at all, but this one definitely needed a few. There have been some changes in the weightings of the different sections, and a few things have been added and removed, as well as some name changes that need to be factored in.

While limited Configuration Manager exposure was required in the original version of the exam, there’s a bit more required now because Desktop Analytics (DA)  has replaced Windows Analytics (WA) in the exam, but DA can’t work standalone like WA could, so make sure you have set up the Windows and Office Deployment Lab Kit. I suspect this might get a rebrand soon, as it still refers to Office…

And that’s a great lead in to some other changes, Office 365 ProPlus references are now Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise, and Endpoint Manager is also now called out in the objectives. This doesn’t really make a big change to how you would prepare for the exam if you were already studying, just make sure you are always referring back to the latest exam description to make sure you aren’t missing any recent changes.
