There is now a date for the release of the hardware and software which has passed the Windows 8 logo requirements. This is good news for anyone who has been deferring a hardware purchase to see what has already achieved the logo.

There have also been some usage guideline updates – as mentioned previously products shipping after July 31 could carry the logo if certified, but the logo can’t be used online or in print before September 1.
