Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) 2012 Update 1 is now available for download. It includes support for deploying Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012, along with continued support for Windows 7, Office 2010, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP.
Michael Niehaus did a great session at TechEd NA 2012 covering some of the updates, but unfortunately, like most of the other Windows 8 content from that event, it has mysteriously disappeared, maybe there were too many mentions of Metro…
Anyway, the obvious big changes are the support for Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012, along with support for Config Manager 2012 SP1 CTP, DaRT 8 beta, PowerShell 3.0 and more.
